Rio +20, The United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – As a UNESCO NGO partner, the World Air League sent observers to attend the Rio +20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development. The program provided extensive networking connections with global organizations active in developing and promoting sustainable technology solutions.

The initial steps were made on the formation of the World Sky Race Brazil Local Organizing Committee for the purpose of having a Brazil Sky Team enter the RACE and support a bid for a Summit Host Site.
