World Sky Race Dubai Local Organizing Committee

At ETA-ASCON Headquarters in Dubai, Don Hartsell, Commissioner and Managing Director of the World Air League and A. Hakim Albannay, General Manager of Human Resources & Corporate Affairs ETA-ASCON signed a Letter of Intent to create the World Sky Race Dubai Local Organizing Committee to manage the race events and sponsor programs for the United Arab Emirates. The World Air League has selected Star Events, a branch of ETA-ASCON, to be the managing agent for the Dubai Local Organizing Committee. Star Events is also the managing agent for the Dubai Balloon Festival. The Dubai Local Organizing Committee is expected to merge the World Sky Race with Dubai Balloon Festival to create a unique spectacular aerial extravaganza to showcase and salute Dubai as one of the modern wonders of world.
