HOUSTON, TEXAS - The Greater Houston Partnership held its Annual Meeting and 20th Anniversary at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Directors of the World Air League met with the executive officers of the Greater Houston Partnership and the Houston civic leaders to formulate plans for 2009 to develop and promote the World Sky Race. The Greater Houston Partnership brings together and leverages the region’s most business leaders and respected business minds to make the Houston region a better place to live, work, play and invest. As its civic mission, the Partnership supports and promotes visible initiatives that differentiate Houston and capitalize on the City's core strengths and resources. The Annual Meeting highlighted the incoming administration of the Chairman Daniel G. Bellow.
